Welcome to Narina Cliffs, on a remote plateau some 180 meters above the Knysna River Valley. Situated on Candlewood Farm in the catchment area of the Knysna River. About 20 kms outside Knysna on the road to Rheenendal. Candlewood Farm is a small working commercial fruit farm with orchards of Citrus, Macadamia Nuts, Persimmons and Cape Gooseberries and includes about 500 hectares of indigenous forest and fynbos.

In the midst of this wilderness lies a rustic, well-equipped woodcutter’s cabin at the edge of a deep ravine offering magnificent views onto the Outeniqua Mountain range. A rugged farm track in (high clearance vehicle), no neighbours, no glaring lights – a place to let your spirit soar.

The cottage is fully equipped and can accommodate six people in three bedrooms. Bedding and linen is provided. The open-plan lounge-kitchen area leads onto a balcony and there is a braai area next to the cottage. A nearby forest trail and a contour path along the ridge of the plateau invite you to explore the surrounds on foot.

Whether you want to go birding or hiking, put your mountain-biking or 4×4 skills to the test, swim in the river and sunbathe on its shores, enjoy a good read on the patio and watch the sun travel across the northerly horizon, meditate or hold a retreat – it’s all yours.
